Big news in town: El Nido is resuming tourist activities, starting from September 30th, 2020 for Palawan residents – with a number of safety and Covid-related measures. Following the release of the news by the Municipality, we take the opportunity to transcribe here the big changes operating in town – especially all the safety measures to which visitors must adhere.
After that Moringa Resort was accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT) last July, allowing its official reopening in the best conditions, a delegation of the local government unit (or LGU) came to deliver a new certification to the hotel: Moringa Resort is now certified by El Nido LGU – a visible recognition at first glance!
Yesterday, on Sunday 20th September 2020, a spaying event to neuter stray dogs and cats of El Nido was held – founded and organized by the Palawan Animal Welfare Foundation. An event to which Moringa Resort wanted to be associated with, by providing two rooms for the veterinarians coming from Puerto Princesa City, and equipment (chairs) for volunteers and pet owners.

Since the date of March, 17th 2020, the town of El Nido has been placed under quarantine. While no visitors were allowed to come in, we helped our last customers to enjoy their extended stays in our resorts – before swiping flights were arranged for all stranded tourists to go back to their home countries.
